The boys on Myrtle St. ride their bikes from house to house year round. Most of their bikes are junk bikes so when chains break, spokes bend, or pedals fall off my mom and I help them fix them. Amongst other shenanigans the boys pick up enough trash on the side of the road for our neighbors to make enough money to buy new tire tubes, handle bars, chains, and pedals.
Myrtle St. is just about a mile long yet the large personalities of these boys take up the neighborhood. They wheelie across the main intersecting roads with no fear, they talk to everyone who walks by, and they stop to dance at you when you drive along the road. Needless to say they boys have a contagious joy and spunk.
